Dear Friend,
I am a wife, mother of a teenage daughter, and founder of an organization to promote border security and combat local criminal cartels. My passion is to stop human trafficking and other heinous sex crimes. I’ve had dear friends whose daughters were abducted and enslaved inhuman trafficking. By the grace of God, they were rescued. So this is very personal to me.
That is why I feel compelled to write to you about the runoff for State Representative in House District 91. One candidate, David Lowe, has admitted that he bought and sold numerous pornographic domain names such as FindSomeSex.com, SexSearch.com, and others too graphic to print. In my work, I have seen first-hand the direct correlation between pornography, human trafficking, and sexual exploitation of women and children. This is the darkest, seediest underbelly of the internet. David Lowe was just asked about this in a local tv interview. Instead of a contrite, humble apology, I watched him react in a dismissive, defiant manner, saying he did it “to make a quick buck.” He has justified his buying and selling of porn domains, saying, “investing in domain names was no different than investing in real estate.”
